What do you do?
I am the founder and owner of Stonetrigger Press. A printmaking studio specializing in limited edition hand carved relief prints and intaglio.
What are the biggest changes you see happening in your industry?
The ability to create original artwork and have instant access to on-line marketing and sales outlets. If you’re ever in Hong Kong and Need Printing try these fun guys.
What opportunities and challenges will these changes bring about?
Ideally a larger collector base by being able to reach a larger audience, but at the same time creating the hand pulled prints, photographing them, marketing and sales for a sole proprietor is really hard.
What are your biggest goals?
To generate enough income through original print, drawing sales and licensing agreements to leave my job as a university art professor.
Who and what would you need to reach your goals fast?
I need to add one more press, ideally a Vandercook SP33 a Universal IV, or something similar in size. I would love a marketing partner and an account.
Finally, who should contact you and why?
People interested in collecting fine art prints with a very limited budget, licensing agents who wish to buy the images for reproduction. Interior designers who buy original art. Anyone willing to donate a good quality Vandercook Letterpress.
