What do you do?
Social & Interactive Music App
What are the biggest changes you see happening in your industry?
Music is a universal language on all continents of the planet. Communication & technology are 2 essential needs & drives of our “global village”. We thought about uniting them in one unique experience : with Louise, music becomes literally a new social medium and its central innovation is to listen to each other in real time & to include instant messaging possibilities.
What opportunities and challenges will these changes bring about?
In a world where mobility & convenience are everything in the palms of our hands, we want to bring music in the center of our communication inside of one unique app and literally connect people through music. Louise has been created & developed in 2014 by our team in France. The app is now available on the Apple iTunes Store since mid december 2014 & Google Play Store since 20th March 2015.
What are your biggest goals?
Louise benefits of the cross-section of different markets (mobile music apps, music streaming services, instant messaging apps) and its strength is to not compete with anyone but to unite with strategic partnerships. Released in mid December exclusively in the Apple Itunes store in 182 countries, Louise will be available on Android & Windows users later in 2015. With the strategic support of its existing partners (named above) & forthcoming ones, Louise will benefit of the dynamic growth of the music streaming market and also of some new territories expansion (Africa, Australia, Brazil, Canada, India, Japan or Mexico).
Who and what would you need to reach your goals fast?
Louise aims to be the “one stop” app combining all major music streaming services inside of one unique app. By having solid partnerships with Soundcloud, Spotify, Deezer, Rdio and Qobuz, we already open our doors to a potential pool of 350 million users. Additional partnerships with Apple/Beats Music & YouTube are already in discussion & should bring a substantial extension to this pool of over 1 billion users.
Finally, who should contact you and why?
The great thing about Louise is that no app actually offers something similar to us. Even popular apps as Soundwave or Tinder, offering playlists sharing & messaging, don’t come close of the real time listening & chatting of Louise. Also all of the major music streaming players have been strictly focusing on developing their “users base” inside of their own system, making the music offered more attractive & their services more convenient over the years. As a positive result, huge pools of users have been created (independently from each others) but none of them have touched ground with “real time interactive listening” inside of their own services, and even less between different services. This is where Louise sizes a huge opportunity by uniting them and partnering with them.
